Wireless Candelabras for Frozen
For these candelabras used a production of Disney's Frozen it was important that the modern aspect of pieces be hidden. To begin, hole were drilled in the back of the base of each candle holder so that cable could be run. The cable was then run and zip tied around the bend of each arm, then met in the back central part of the body of the candelabra. The cables at the top were attached to a socked that was hidden by a cream colored tube representing a candle, complete with hot glue styled wax drips. The wire connecting to arms were then wire knotted, zipped together, and then one cable was run down the body into a hole drilled into the top of the base of the stand. The cable running into the stand was connected to a dimmer pack, which was in turn plugged into a small 410w Schumacher power inverter, the inverter was attached to a 12v lawnmower battery. DMX was controlled wirelessly by ShowBaby 6 that was stored in the base alongside the dimmer pack and battery which it was plugged into as well. To finish off everything the candelabra (originally white) and the cable (Black) were spraypainted gold and silicone dipped flicker flame bulbs were added.
