Light Windows for 42nd Street Skyline

This New York skyline was featured in the show 42nd Street and consisted of 8 pieces 6 of which received window cut outs that required LED RGB tape. (Shown below is the Empire State Building portion of the skyline.) For this process the LED tape was cut into sections so to fit around the windows and then soldered together to create a clean extension. A piece of lauan was placed on the back of the each skyline piece so to avoid cable pinching, each line was run through a series of drilled holes in the bracing. To ensure a smooth and accurate run, the tape was measured, cut, and marked. Then, the tail end of the line was then placed through a hole in the backing and run to a 12v RGB Decoder.
